Houses and Hotels

In the early versions of Hugh Hefner’s custom Monopoly, houses were modeled after the original Playboy Mansion in Chicago, intricately recreated in miniature form. These pieces were resin cast and hand-painted in gray with white trim.

Later versions transitioned to hotels shaped like the Miami Playboy Club Hotel, taller and more modern. These were produced using metal molds with gold-painted details and small bunny logos etched into the base.

The shift in architectural style reflected Hefner’s personal transition from Chicago to his Miami and Los Angeles residences during the 1970s.
