The dining room was remodeled as a part of the full kitchen remodel that was completed in August, 2025. (Plekkenpol Builders) The chandelier was added at that time.

The leaded glass transom above the stairway door opens to hidden storage. Transom window back-light (the storage loght) is controlled by the switch on that wall.

The fireplace is wood burning, chimney inspected and certified in 2025.

Possible future project: Convert dining room fireplace to gas.
