MasterBath

The small master bathroom was entirely rebuilt in 2021.

Partially rotted/water damaged floor boards (2x8) were replaced, then a layer of OSB, a layer of cement board, and finished with mosaic marble tile. Drywall was removed and replaced on every wall except the exterior wall, (to keep the blown insulation contained), but a new layer of drywall was added to that wall. Feed pipes and drain for the sink had to be extended to a height compatible with modern vanities.

The window was replaced in October 2023 as part of the whole house window replacement project.

Electrical note. The main light switch box also acts as a junction box for all the electrical in this bathroom, as well as the tub/shower alcove of the main bathroom, and the outlet in the Master Bedroom on the opposite side of the wall where it is installed.
